Mass Swim  X-WATERS Yenisei - 2025

On the 2^nd of August 2025 in Dudinka the largest mass swim in open water above the Arctic Circle – X-WATERS Yenisei will take place.

For participation in this large-scale event the amateurs of winter swimming from all over Russia will arrive at the polar capital. The athletes will have to swim along and across the Yenisei – one of the largest rivers of Russia. In the harsh conditions of the artic Yenisei they will have to cover a distance at their choice: 100 or 500 meters, as well as 5 or 12 kilometers. In the beginning of August the expected water temperature on the surface of the Yenisei is from +10 to +14 °C.

For the first time in the history of the swim, the distance X-JUNIORS, 500 meters long, will be organized for teenagers of 14-17 years. The participation of young athletes is possible only with the permission of their parents or legal repsentatives.

The X-WATERS Yenisei swim is a stage of the X-WATERS World Championship 2025, it is included into the list of competitions of the Winter Swimming League Cup – a separate competition for those, who like cool water, not trivial traveling and intimate starts.
