Monument Drunk Uncle Vasya

Krasnoyarsk residents say about him with a smile: Our uncle Vasya is a drunkard. One of the most beloved by citizens is a monument to an alcoholic whose official name is Drunk Uncle Vasya. The monument depicts a drunken man in a hat and with a bottle, which was leaning against a pillar in order to maintain balance, while a dog was peeing at him.

The author is Krasnoyarsk sculptor Konstantin Zinich. In 2006, at the annual Russian sculpture competition, this monument received the main Grand Prix award in the nomination National Idea.
