How to get to the centre of Krasnoyarsk from the airport, railway and bus stations

So, you have arrived at Krasnoyarsk. There is the airport building behind you, or the railway station, or the bus station – these are the places, where any traveling around the capital of the Krasnoyarsk region and its suburbs starts from. We will tell you about all the variants of getting to the city centre (we will regard the Theatre Square as the centre) and how much time they will take.

FROM THE AIRPORT

Krasnoyarsk International airport named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky is situated 38 km from the city centre. We offer three variants of getting to the very heart of the capital to your choice:

– By bus. The way to the bus station (and the bus arrives right here) will take you about 50 minutes, from here you will need to go the city centre by any transport, convenient tot you (see all the possible variants in the section FROM THE BUS STATION). You can learn the full schedule and buy tickets on the web-site krasavtovokzal.ru or in the booking office of the Passengers terminal of the airport.

– By taxi. You can book a car to the city using the application Yandex Go or taxi Maxim, you can also address to the special stand in the baggage claim area of the Passengers terminal. The way to the city will take from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the traffic jams.

– By a rented car. You can rent a car HERE, in this case you will need your passport and driving license. The time of traveling will be the same as by taxi – from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION

Krasnoyarsk railway station is situated not far from the Theatre Square, so you can get here:

– By public transport. At the bus stop Zheleznodorozhny Vokzal take bus number 37, 55 or 56 and get off at the bus stop Teatr Opery i Baleta. You can also go by tram number 7 to the stop Ulitsa Perensona, walking from there will take you about 3 minutes, and traveling by public transport will last about 15 minutes.

– By taxi. This is, perhaps, the fastest way – the trip will take just about 7-10 minutes. Here all the services, as in the airport, can be used  – application Yandex Go or taxi Maxim.

– On foot. If you have some small luggage, for example, a small backpack or bag, and you want to start discovering the city right after arrival, a pedestrian trip will be a cool variant :) Open the application 2GIS or Yandex Maps and go along the historical part of the city right to its heart. The way will last for about 40 minutes.  

FROM THE BUS STATION

– By bus. From the bus stop Mezhdugorodny Avtovokzal go by bus number 6 right to the Theatre Square. If a short walk (just 5-10 minutes) is not a problem for you, you can also take buses 12, 64 and 85 – in this case you will need to get off at the bus stop Tekhnologicheskaya Akademia and using the 2GIS application or Yandex Maps, go to the square.
