Novopyatnitskoye Reservoir in Mansko-Uyarsky District

The reservoir is situated between the villages of Novopyatnitskoye and Novoalexandrovka. You can get there by car from Krasnoyarsk, going about 120 kilometers in the direction of Kansk. You can also use a bus or an electric train.

Tourists come here because of the unusual landscape with water lilies, which bloom on the water in July and August. Each flower lives about four days: in the morning it opens and in the evening it plunges into water again. It is forbidden to pick water lilies, since they are included into the Red Book.

Near the reservoir there is a lighthouse, on the bank you can rent a boat or a catamaran. The rental price is one thousand rubles for an hour, and the access to water with your own sup-board or boat is 500 rubles. You can set a tent on the bank for free.

On the way back to Krasnoyarsk you can visit several interesting places of Mansko-Uyarsky district.

Just some kilometers from Novopyatnitskoye there is the village of Olgino with a beautiful church of the 19th century. At the moment it is being restored.

You can also drop in Uyar to see a water tower – the symbol of the city. The tower was built of bricks and granite in 1912. It consists of two joined cylinders with elongated windows. The water tower is still used in the water system of the city.
