5 Warm Lakes of Sharypovsky District

The Sharypovsky district is rightly considered the region of blue lakes, since there are even 273 water bodies in its territory. The local beauties excited travelers and explorers of the past, and today thousands of tourists come here to have a rest, enjoy the silence near the water and, of course, to improve their health.

The most known lakes of the district are: Bolshoye, Krugloye, Ingol, Linyovo, Tzingol. So, we’ll tell about them:)

► Lake Bolshoye is perhaps the most touristic of them all. The guests call the lake Parnoye. Maybe because each summer the water in the lake is well heated here, and swimming in it is a real pleasure. Or maybe it is due to the village Parnaya, which is situated near it. The lake is really big: its total area is 32,8 sq.km. On its shores, there are many recreation centres and landscaped territories for camping.

► Lake Ingol is freshwater, with transparent and pure water, containing silver. The bottom can be seen at the depth of 10 m. There is healing light grey silt mud in the lake. Iron, found in the mud’s composition, is the same as iron, contained in maternal milk. On the bank of the lake there are dispensaries and recreation centres, you can also come here with a tent.

► Lake Tsingol is a small picturesque warm forest lake, situated about 20 km to the south of Sharypovo. This lake, as well as Ingol and Krugloye, has the status of the nature monument of the regional importance, so hunting and forest cutting are forbidden here. People come here “savages”. The road to the lake leaves much to be desired , but in dry weather you can come here by any car. Take mosquito repellents with you, there are lots of them here.

► Lake Krugloye (means round in Russian) is indeed of an oval and it is situated in a basin almost 30 m above the level of lake Maloye, located nearby. It is separated from Maloye by a small spit, but the composition of water in Krugloye extremely differs from that of its neighbour. It is saturated with hydrogen sulphide and has healing qualities. On the eastern shore there is a rift, and a waterfall rushes down through it. On the western shore, in three places, the springs of the purest fresh water  get out of the ground.

► Lake Linyovo is a freshwater lake at the foot of the spurs of Kuznetskoye Alatau. Its square is 1,45 sq.km, the maximum depth is 5 m. The entries to the water are gently sloping, comfortable, the lake is well heated, children do not want to go out of the water. The amateurs of swimming far will face a surprise – seaweed, which unexpectedly appear, raise from the depth. Don’t be afraid of them. The location close to Sharypovo and asphalt road, going to Linyovo, made this place really popular. On its bank there is a children camp and a recreation centre.
