Churches with Amazing History
The Saint Trinity Cathedral is one of the most beautiful and most prayerful churches of the region. Its constructing finished in far 1860-s. Despite the church is situated on the Trinity cemetry, it’s life is not limited by memorial services only. It is amazing, but after 1936, when all the cult facilities of Krasnoyarsk had been closed or reclassified into secular organizations, this is the Saint Trinity Church that was the only one used by appointment. In 1937 the bishops of the cathedral were shot and during two years the parishioners’ prayers were behind closed doors, in secret. In 1939 the building was given to the accessories workshop of the leather goods factory of the regional wood industry, but in 1945 it got the status of a church again.
