XVI Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale Principle of Hope

The XVI Krasnoyarsk museum biennale Principle of Hope  will open on the 25^th of September 2025.

Krasnoyarsk museum biennale is one of the largest Russia’s international projects in the sphere of modern art, it is the cultural brand of the region.

This is the oldest biennale in Russia, it has been organized by the Museum centre Ploshchad Mira since 1995. About 200 000 residents and guests of the city, artists and art critics attend each biennale.

The biennale is a unique festival of modern art, which is held in Krasnoyarsk every two years.

The biennale usually includes several programs: the exposition, public art, museum, communication and educational ones, as well as special projects. Russian and foreign artists take part in it.
