RUAeroflot has new rules for the carriage of animals
Now one adult passenger of Aeroflot can take only one container with one pet. An exception may be kittens or puppies under the age of 6 months and the total weight with the container up to 8 kg. Permissible cage dimensions: 44x30x26 cm.
Also, according to the new rules of the airline, the pet owner must attach a sticker to the cage with contact information for communication before handing over the container with the animal to the luggage compartment. The sticker is issued at the reception.
‘To transport more animals, we recommend using our airline's freight services. All conditions for the convenience and safety of animals have been created there,’ stressed Yulia Spivakova, pss secretary of Aeroflot.
