Observation deck "Tsar-fish "
Where we are going: an observation deck with a sculptural
composition "Tsar-fish" near the village of Ovsyanka
Distance from Krasnoyarsk: 20 km
Travel time (round trip) : up to 1 hour
This is one of the most popular tourist destinations
in the suburbs of Krasnoyarsk. At the beginning of the observation deck there
is a recreation area, where you can walk along wooden paths past gazebos and
pines and then climb to the "center of gravity" - the sculpture
"Tsar Fish". It is dedicated to the same name story by Viktor
Petrovich Astafiev. We highly recommend reading it. The novel tells about the
responsibility of a human for all living things around them and about the
striving for peace and harmony, not only in the external world, but also in the
soul. This will help you to feel why this sculptural composition is located
here, among the power and expanses of the banks of the Yenisei.
The site is equipped with benches, waste
bins, a clean and free toilet, free and large parking, cafes and souvenir
shops.
How to get there?
the observation deck is located on the
highway between Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk. From the right bank of Krasnoyarsk
we are moving towards Divnogorsk, along the Yenisei road R-257. There is a
tourist navigation sign in front of the turn to the platform, you will not pass
it seeing a large parking lot on the right side.
Things to do
● See the Tsar-fish
● Take a selfie or panorama on one of the most stunning views of Krasnoyarsk
● Be impssed by the power of the Yenisei and the mountains, feel once again
in what a wonderful place we live
● Have an outdoor picnic in comfortable gazebos
● Visit souvenir huts, choose a pleasant gift for yourself and your loved ones
Where to have a snack?
You can take food with you and have a
small picnic in specially equipped gazebos, in the recreation area, which are
connected by a wooden platform leading further to the observation deck. Or dine
with barbecue and grilled vegetables in the Delfa cafe.
