The check-list for travelling in the North of the Krasnoyarsk region
The success of a good trip is the right pparation to it! And if you go to the north of the Krasnoyarsk region, you do need to think about the content of your backpack in advance, since, alongside with the beauties, you can face the unexpected weather, winds of tundra and unusual frosts. So, below we are telling you what must be found in your travel bag.
► CLOTHES:
– Trekking high boots, suitable for the season (winter, summer or demi-season). Focus on the models which will fix your foot well and protect it from traumas. Choose boots of the trusted manufacturers!
– A jacket and trousers made of membrane fabric according to the season. Wearing these clothes, you might be neither hot nor cold. The main thing is comfortable temperature and protection from wet and wind. And a little life hack – give pference to bright models to look cool in the photos :)
– A warm jacket of sports down jacket. The North is unpdictable – the decrease of the temperature below zero and snow are not rare here even in summer.
– A fleece jacket or, as it is called by people, a fleece. The advantage of this material is that it warms as well as wool, but it gets dry several times more quickly!
– A pair of thermostat sets which will help you to save constant body temperature and remove extra moisture.
– Sneakers suitable for the season to make your feet feel comfortable after the whole day in trekking boots. Such footwear will suit for walking around the city as well :)
– Membrane or fleece gloves.
– A hat for winter or demi-season or a buff, which can be used as a collar or a headbend protecting ears, or a hood and even a cap, in summer.
– A raincoat – it takes little place and will benefit you much if you get under the rain :)
– Several pairs of socks for trekking which will fix your feet and usual warm socks in case if you’ll need to warm your feet quickly.
– A pair of T-shirts. Choose those ones made of the materials which get dry quickly and remove moisture well. This item of your clothes shouldn’t hamper movements.
– Several underwear sets.
► PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
– A toiletry bag with personal care products. Be sure to take everything necessary for washing, taking shower and smelling well :)
– Sun-protecting cream and sunglasses in any season, because firstly, you can get burnt in the sun even in winter, and secondly, the sun blinds not worse than in the south!
– A first aid kit with individual medicines.
– A towel. It’s better to choose the variants made of microfiber which absorb moisture, dry quickly and take little space as well.
► OTHER NECESSARY THINGS:
– A backpack for 20-30 liters for trips and excursions.
– A thermos for the tastiest tea drinking in the lap of nature.
– Trekking poles. If your trips are impossible without this thing, do take them with you.
– A headlamp for night trips.
– Heaters for footwear. To dry footwear or just heat boots before a trip in winter is always a good idea!
– Repellents (in summer). Mosquitos and midges in the north are so bloodthirsty, so, in order not to be bitten, do not ignore these means of protection.
– A seat. It’s always better to admire the revealing sceneries seating on something soft than on the stones or a curb.
– A photo camera, chargers for all devices, power-banks and extra memory cards. Here you’ll see so much unusual here, that will do want to capture the memory :)
– A sleeping bag with the temperature of “comfort” for the appropriate season, a tent and self-inflated or just inflated mat. All these things will be necessary for you, if you go to a trip with a stay in a camping or just plan to spend a couple of nights in the nature.
– A mug, a plate, a fork and a knife. This is exactly what you’ll need if you have a chance to eat some fish soup in the open air :)
– Several 30-liters plastic bags for dirty things.
We hope, our list will seriously simplify your pparation period. We also recommend you to check what is necessary to take with you with the tour operator you are travelling with. Don’t forget documents (it’s better to place them into a hermetic pack) and the best mood for the upcoming adventures!
