Stolby National Park

In the vicinity of Krasnoyarsk there is a national park "Stolby". Here, among the taiga, rocky cliffs of bizarre form rise to 90,000 meters on 47,000 hectares. In total, the reserve has about 100 rocks. For the appearance or location, they received unusual names: "Grandfather", "Feathers", "Lion Gate", "Gemini", "Elephant", "Sparrows". The Takmak stands out from the general panorama. This rock is clearly visible from the side of the city, being a kind of visiting card of Krasnoyarsk.

The reserve has more than 600 species of plants, 178 species of birds, 50 species of animals and 20 species of fish.

The mail feature of the reserve is that it is located on the territory of the city and is a favorite place for active walks of residents and guests of Krasnoyarsk. Stolby are visited annually by more than 300 thousand people. On weekends and holidays, from 10 to 40 thousand people go along the most popular route with a length of about 20 kilometers.
