Monument to Pushkin and Goncharova
There are more than 500 monuments to the most famous Russian poet, playwright and prose writer A.S. Pushkin in the whole world. But the love of the great poet and his wife in a form of a monument is not found so often.
The monument to Pushkin and Goncharova in Krasnoyarsk is one of the most exquisite monuments of the city: Not far from the Pushkin Theater stop in a quiet park you can find a couple of frozen figures - this is Pushkin's declaration of love to Natalia Goncharova. The author of such a magnificent composition was the architect Areg Demirkhanov and sculptor Konstantin Zinich. Local authorities decided to erect a monument in the mini-square of the city. The monument was unveiled in June 2008 to the 20th anniversary of the great poet.
