"Shushensky Bor" National Park

The Shushensky Bor National Park is located on the territory of the Shushensky District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, at the junction of two climatic zones - forest-steppe and taiga. Its area is 39,200 hectares. Particularly valuable natural sites of the ShushenskyBor include pine ribbon forests located outside the main distribution area, and a lake-bog complex - a landscape relic of the ice age.

The highest point of the park is 2318 meters above sea level and is located on Mount Poylova. Borus ridge. This is one of favorite places among climbers and tourists who love to conquer simple peaks.

On different clusters of the national park, there are:
● 850 species of vascular plants, 12 of which are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation: Siberian Kandyk and SayanKandyk, Adonis vernalis, Siberian Brunner, Altai anemone, Pallas primrose, peony “Maryinkoren”, male thyroid, etc.
● 273 species of birds, 27 of them are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation, in particular: black stork, small swan, mountain goose, ospy, golden eagle, white-tailed eagle, saker, peregrine falcon, demoiselle crane and others.
● 4 species of amphibians;
● 5 species of reptiles;
● 59 species of mammals, among which pvail: brown hare, common squirrel, brown bear, common fox, sable, red deer, roe deer, musk deer, elk, wild boar.



Arriving here for a day, you can walk along the paths of the unique ribbon bore, spad on the terraces at the Yenisei, and find out the history of its origin. Climb the Crane and Sand Slides. You will visit the lake of glacial origin, where there is a peasant hut in which Lenin rested. And in the arboretum "Berendey" you will see more than 170 species and shapes of trees and shrubs, a hut on chicken legs and a sundial.
