Crystal Ice Arena

Crystal Arena, located on Partizana Zheleznyaka Street, was opened on September 7, 2018. The opening ceremony was attended by the following: the governor of the region Alexander Uss, the Minister of Sports Sergey Alekseev and the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in figure skating Ilya Averbukh. Before the official opening of the arena, a master class for skaters was held by Olympic champion in figure skating Adelina Sotnikova. Also, from the stands, the ceremony was watched by young athletes involved in figure skating and hockey, their coaches and parents.

Ice Arena with an area of more than 42 thousand square meters includes two ice platforms of 60 x 30 m in size at once. One of them is the main one - competitions will be held there, the second one is for training, where hockey players, figure skaters and short-track school children will be engaged. In addition, the Ice Arena is equipped with martial arts halls, warm-up and choreography rooms, a trampoline and a gym, a gym for general physical training, 12 locker rooms for teams, rooms for technical delegates, judges and staff, places for the media, and medical facilities.
