Every year, in the village of Sukhobuzimo, where Vasily Surikov and his family lived for several years, the festival of folk culture Siberian Maslenitsa is held. This is a bright theatrical performance, inspired by the famous painting of the artist The Capture of the Snow Fortress.

In the framework of the festival folk celebrations, typical for Siberia of the 18-19^th centuries, are reconstructed. Its participants get a unique opportunity to окунуться into authentic Siberian lifestyle.
