Weeping icon and holy spring in the village of Kazachinskoe

The fame of the ancient village of Kazachinskoye spad throughout Russia when, for the first time 17 years ago, the icon of the Mother of God of Kazan “wept” there, in the Holy Trinity Church. Religious people suggested that the miracle was a warning about the terrible fire that happened in the village a few months later. Several dozen houses were burnt to the ground. But since then, tears in the eyes of the Virgin and the baby Christ have appeared more than once, and the flow of pilgrims has not stopped.

Local priests say that such phenomena do not occur to foretell disaster, but to strengthen people's faith. And one can’t but believe when sincere prayers to this icon have repeatedly produced real miracles ...

Another miracle of Kazachinsky is the holy source of the apostles Peter and Paul. Pilgrims and local residents claim that the water from the spring has healing properties and cures many diseases.

There are three ways to get to the village of Kazachinskoye and see miracles with your own eyes:
► as a part of a pilgrimage tour - you need to contact the Krasnoyarsk eparchy;
► independently from the Krasnoyarsk bus station: buses run daily, the cost of a one-way ticket is 478 rubles;
► on personal vehicles: the distance from Krasnoyarsk to Kazachinsky is just over 200 km along the Yeniseysk tract.
